The First Consultation

The first Consultation with your Homeopath will take about 1 - 1.5 hours. You will be given the opportunity to explain in detail what is troubling you and how it affects your life. Your Homeopath will then ask questions about any other complaints you experience or have experienced. She will continue asking questions about eating habits, sleep and so on.

The information gathered is used to match a Homeopathic Remedy with a similar symptom picture to your symptom picture.

For children the Homeopath may ask about pregnancy and symptoms experienced during this time as well as the above.

You will then be given some little white tablets or a bottle with a clear liquid in it with clear instructions as to how to take these. 

Follow-up Consultation 

Your Homeopath will ask you to come back 4 weeks after the first Consultation. Follow-up consultations last between 30 - 45 minutes and you and your homeopath will be comparing notes on how the remedy has affected you. You may be given another remedy at this point or your homeopath will suggest that you wait, especially when a remedy has worked well.

Telephone Support 

Should you need to contact your Homeopath between consultations there is telephone support to answer any of your queries. 

Homeopathic Treatment is a process and the Homeopath and Patient work closely together to improve the Patient's health.

Do I need a referal from my GP?

It is not necessary to have a referal from your GP but communication with your GP about what you have chosen to do is encouraged.

Can I claim for Homeopathic Treatment under my Health Insurance?

It is possible to claim for some or all of your homeopathic treatment costs from some Health Insurers. Please check with your Insurer.
